TownGrade
C+
#152 of 285 in WA

The town has 17,638 residents and lies in Washington.

Is Bryn Mawr-Skyway a good place to live?

The picture is mixed. Cost of living is its weak spot — homes are expensive, about $644K for a typical one and 5.6 times the Seattle metro’s $115K median household income. Walkability is its strong suit: it is more walkable than 97% of U.S. towns. It also does well on health: it is healthier than 86% of U.S. towns. Overall, that makes a C+, good for 152nd of 285 in Washington. That leaves it better than just over two fifths of U.S. towns. Hazard risk is weaker too: FEMA rates its natural-hazard risk higher than 83% of U.S. communities, with earthquakes at the top. The biggest park or preserve is Skyway Park, at 22 acres.
