Sand Fork has yet to put a famous person on the list

Across West Virginia, 155 towns list someone born there. The longest list in West Virginia is Huntington’s, with 62 names. Charleston has the second-longest list in West Virginia, after Huntington, with 48.

Who’s listed here

Famous people come from Wikidata (people whose birthplace is Sand Fork), checked against each person’s English Wikipedia article and ranked by how many Wikipedia languages cover them. Nobody born in Sand Fork has passed that check yet, and nobody born within 35 miles is listed.
