Is Andover Township a good place to live?

The everyday basics are strong; the price of a home is the catch. Where it does best is safety (A+): it reports less crime per resident than 96% of U.S. towns. Health is a strength too: CDC estimates put its residents' health ahead of 85% of the country. What counts against it is cost of living: the typical home is worth about $566K, 5.7 years of the New York metro’s $99K median household income. All told, that adds up to an A overall, better than 88% of U.S. towns. That places it 107th of 466 in New Jersey. Nearly a quarter of the land in Andover Township is conserved, above both New Jersey’s towns (11%) and U.S. towns (4.3%). On history, just 12 of New Jersey’s 530 towns do worse.
