Welcoming New Neighbors

I was thinking about how our community comes together to make new arrivals feel at home, especially with the relatively short average commute to work of just 12 minutes, which must make it easier for people to get involved and meet their neighbors. What are some ways you've seen people in Devils Lake make new residents feel welcome, or maybe you have a story about how you were made to feel at home when you first moved here?
