Life in Port Jefferson

I was thinking about what makes our village so special and I started wondering, for those who grew up here, what did a typical day look like back when you were younger, especially considering our relatively short commute to work, which is 18 minutes on average, much shorter than in many other places. What did you like to do on a regular day in Port Jefferson?
