Living in Augusta

I was thinking about what makes our town so special and I realized that with our median household income being higher than the state and national averages, many of us are likely able to enjoy a pretty comfortable lifestyle here. But is it the economic opportunities, the schools, or something else entirely that keeps people rooted in Augusta for the long haul?
