Caesarscreek History

I was reading about the founding of our area and noticed that Caesarscreek Township is one of the twelve townships of Greene County, which got me thinking about how our town fits into the larger picture of the county. I wonder, do our newer residents know that we're part of a larger county with such a specific number of townships, and how do you think that affects our local community?
