Is Apple Valley a good place to live?

Plenty in its favour, and one clear drawback. It does especially well on incomes: the median household earns $101K. Health is a strength too (B+): it is healthier than nearly three quarters of U.S. towns. The catch is walkability. Most errands need a car: it is less walkable than 91% of U.S. towns. A typical home there costs about $288K, 3.9 years of the Mount Vernon area’s $74K median household income. All told, that adds up to a B+ overall and a rank of 397th of 987 in Ohio. Set against the rest, it does better than nearly two thirds of U.S. towns.
