Is Baldwinsville a good place to live?

A well-rated place to live, with prices to match. Its strongest subject is health: residents are healthier than 84% of U.S. towns on CDC estimates. The drawback is cost of living — the typical home is worth about $337K, 4.5 years of the Syracuse metro’s $75K median household income. All told, that adds up to a B+ overall and a rank of 205th of 745 in New York. Nationally, it does better than nearly three quarters of U.S. towns. Baldwinsville’s trail density is 1.4 miles per square mile, above both New York’s towns (0.4) and U.S. towns (0.4). The biggest park or preserve is Lysander Town Park, at 45 acres. The town is more walkable than 82% of U.S. towns.
