Is Verdi a good place to live?

The best of Verdi’s subject grades are an A− for incomes and an A for the outdoors; the weakest is a D for hazard risk. Only 4 of Nevada’s 65 towns score higher on incomes. Most errands need a car: it is less walkable than 80% of U.S. towns. Only 6 of Nevada’s 66 towns score higher on health. Verdi’s trail density is 2.0 miles per square mile, close to Nevada’s towns (2.0) and above U.S. towns (0.4). Only 5 of Nevada’s 66 towns score higher on history. Crystal Peak Park, at 54 acres with 1.2 miles of trail, is the biggest park or preserve. Verdi has fewer than 2,500 residents, so it gets subject grades but no overall grade.
