Belgium Township, in brief

Wikipedia doesn’t have a history of Belgium Township yet. The photos, dates and memories neighbors add here are how it gets written.

Belgium Township is a township in Polk County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 111 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Grand Forks-ND-MN Metropolitan Statistical Area. Belgium Township was organized in 1880. A large share of the early settlers being natives of Belgium caused the name to be selected.

Between the 2010 and 2020 censuses its population fell from 81 to 63 (-22%).
