Railroad Avenue Historic District was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 27, 1987. It is significant for its agriculture, commerce, transportation and exploration/settlement at the local level. Its architecture is described as Neo-Classical and Late 19th and Early 20th Century Revivals and Art Deco and Mission Revival. The district takes in 15 historic buildings. It was listed as part of Willcox MRA.
