Is Casas Adobes a good place to live?

Plenty in its favour, and one clear drawback. Its strongest is health (A): CDC estimates put its residents' health ahead of 88% of the country. Add schools to its strengths: its schools rank ahead of 68% of Arizona towns. The catch is cost of living: the typical home is worth about $343K, 4.9 years of the Tucson metro’s $70K median household income. It also trails on hazard risk — FEMA rates its natural-hazard risk higher than 80% of U.S. communities, with inland flooding at the top. Overall, that makes a B, better than 59% of U.S. towns. That places it 28th of 139 in Arizona. Casitas de Castilian Historic District is on the National Register of Historic Places.
