New to Spokane Valley

I just moved to Spokane Valley and I'm excited to explore my new home, especially with the beautiful sunny weather we're having this week. As I'm getting settled, I'd love to know what are some of the first things I should do or try in the area to get a feel for the community, now that I've finally found a place to call home in this city that's been growing since its incorporation in 2003.
