Getting to know Hartland

I just moved to Hartland and I'm excited to explore my new home, I've already noticed that my commute to work is a bit longer than what I'm used to, about 30 minutes, which seems to be the norm here. I'm looking forward to settling in and discovering all that Hartland has to offer, what are some of the first things I should do or try to get a feel for the community?
