Living in Cottage Grove

I was thinking about how most of us own our homes here in Cottage Grove, with a really high percentage compared to the rest of the state and the country. It makes me wonder, what is it about our little town that makes it worth staying and putting down roots for so many of us, despite the challenges we might face?
