El Paso Size and Feel

I've always thought that El Paso feels a bit smaller than its 2.1 square miles would suggest, probably because everything is so easily accessible, and with an average commute of just 25 minutes, it's easy to get around. Does the heart of our town really lie at the intersection of the Illinois Central Railroad and the highways, or is it somewhere else entirely - where do you think the heart of El Paso is?
