Welcoming New Neighbors

I was thinking about how our community comes together to make new arrivals feel at home, especially with our relatively short average commute to work of 17 minutes, which must make it easier for people to get involved locally. I've heard stories of folks receiving warm welcomes at our schools, like Woodbine High School, and I'd love to hear more about times when our community has made a new family or individual feel welcome. What's a time when you saw someone new to town receive a particularly warm welcome?
