Lake Junaluska History

I was reading about how Lake Junaluska got its name from nearby Mount Junaluska, which was named after a Cherokee leader in the early nineteenth century. This connection to local Cherokee history is fascinating, and I'd love to learn more about the story behind the name - does anyone know more about the Cherokee leader that Mount Junaluska was named after?
