Free Afternoon Fun

With the beautiful weather we're having, I was thinking of taking my kids out for a fun afternoon. Since we're so close to great outdoor spots in Sarasota County, I'm wondering what's the best local spot to take them on a free afternoon like today, maybe somewhere they can run around and enjoy the Mostly Sunny day we're having today?
