Local History Curiosity

I was just out for a walk along the Little Bighorn River and it got me thinking about how our community has grown and changed over time. Given that our colony is situated in a beautiful valley, I wonder what used to be at the spot where our homes and buildings stand now. What do you think used to be there before our colony was established?
