Ferguson Township students have been climbing, swinging, and sliding their way through the start of the year with a new place to play. The school recently opened its new playground, designed to give every student more ways to move and spend time with friends.
SCASD has earned a place among the nation’s best school districts, placing in the top 10 in Pennsylvania and the top 100 in the country, according to Niche’s annual rankings. Teachers rank ninth in Pennsylvania and 82nd in the U.S.
Plenty of blankets, lawn chairs, and umbrellas filled the grass around Park Forest Elementary School as students gathered with family and friends for the school’s annual Book Picnic.
