Bank of Magdalena was added to the National Register of Historic Places on Aug 2, 1982. It is significant for its architecture at the state level. It was listed as part of Magdalena MRA.
The Bank of Magdalena at 1st and Main Streets in Magdalena, New Mexico was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. Designed by Albuquerque architect Edward Buxton Cristy, it is a one-story flat-roofed brick building with decorative brickwork along parapets and cornices that was partly built before 1908 and completed by 1913.
