Living in Rodeo, CA: what to set up and who to call

Rodeo has no town government of its own, so Contra Costa County runs its elections and most services, and its children attend John Swett Unified School District. Tap water in Rodeo comes from the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD), which has a clean five-year EPA record (about 18% of systems its size had a health-based violation) and a latest lead result below detection.

Rodeo has no town government. It’s a census-designated place in Contra Costa County, so the county and regional agencies provide most services. This page answers what we can; the same answers appear on Rodeo’s town page under “Getting set up”.
