Is Miami a good place to live?

The best of Miami’s subject grades is an A for cost of living; the weakest is a D− for incomes. Miami’s violent crime rate is 15.6 per 1,000 residents, above both the Arizona town median (2.7) and the median of U.S. towns (1.9). Only 13 of Arizona’s 202 towns score lower on incomes. FEMA rates its natural-hazard risk higher than 78% of U.S. communities, with inland flooding at the top. On history, just 5 of Arizona’s 207 towns do better. Miami has fewer than 2,500 residents, so it gets subject grades but no overall grade.
