New to Bright Community

I just moved to Bright and I'm excited to get to know the area, I noticed that the homes here have a median value of $279,500 which is higher than the rest of the state. I'm curious to know what are some of the first things I should try or explore in Bright to get a feel for the community, what would you recommend I do first?
