Living in Dalton

I was thinking about how Dalton is a transition town between the urban and rural portions of Berkshire County and it got me wondering, what is it about our town that makes people want to stay for the long haul, especially with the relatively short average commute to work of 22 minutes being a big plus for many of us. What keeps you in Dalton?
